The United States Trotting Association proposes to Amend ARCI-023-020 CLAIMING RACES (A) GENERAL PROVISIONS by adding section (11) VOIDABLE CLAIM.
The current Model Rules rule does not provide a provision for voidable claims for harness racing (a rule does exist for flat racing, ARCI-009-010).
The USTA asserts that the addition of this rule will protect claimants and the welfare of horses.
